About this event

The Wellbeing Rooms CIC offer affordable therapy to the local community. We are experienced & qualified therapists: Rebecca (Registered Nutritionist), Jane (Reflexologist & Yoga therapist) & Annoushka (Acupuncturist) who want to make quality therapy accessible for all.

We know there is no one magic bullet to a healthy menopause but that a combination of diet & lifestyle changes can be transformative.

We have created an innovative 5-week programme to support women who are experiencing menopause and perimenopause symptoms.

Sessions will run once a week for 5 weeks from 11am - 1pm at Victoria Park Community Building, Stretford on Fridays from 14th June until 12th July 2024.

You will:


  • Learn about the wide range of symptoms: emotional, physiological & psychological, that perimenopause and menopause can cause.


  • Get trusted information about HRT, herbal supplements & vitamins.


  • Learn about what and how to eat to support your health


  • Have taster sessions of acupuncture, reflexology and have individually tailored nutritional advice.


  • Learn about the potential benefits of CBT


  • Learn breathwork, deep relaxation techniques and yoga routines to incorporate into your daily life.


  • Share your experiences and meet women going through the same issues


Women who have previously done the course have found it 'brilliant', 'like a breath of fresh air' and 'life-changing'. We passionately believe ALL women should have access to trustworthy information about the menopause and what they can do to help reduce their symptoms and increase their health.


The total programme cost is £20, with low cost options for women on a low income. This programme has been subsidised thanks to the National Lottery & Trafford Housing Trust.


You only need to register for the first session on 14th June to sign up to the whole programme.
