Natural Neighbours - Greening Daubeney Village

Come join us at Daubeney Primary School for an afternoon of community celebration, discussion and green activities!

We'll be -

  • Celebrating the amazing transformation the Daubeney community has made of the school's outdoor space, including planting wildlife-friendly trees for shade in the exposed asphalt playground and replacing a huge expanse of plastic grass with wildlife-friendly clover lawn, fruit trees and fruit and veg beds
  • Having fun making vital habitat like paper plant pots and bug hotels to help birds, butterflies, bees and other much-loved urban nature flourish up close and personal in our outdoor spaces at home, work, school and play
  • Hearing from expert speakers how you can support wildlife where you are, whatever your outdoor space, and how collaborating to do so across your community benefits your health as much as that of our wild friends
  • Looking ahead to further work with Natural Neighbours at Daubeney and beyond - including at your school or on your estate? - and how you can use the Natural Neighbours app to guide and connect you with likeminded nature nurturers in your neighbourhood.
