Natural Hazards Partnership - "Fire, Flood and Space" conference, 26 and 27 March 2019

About this Event

Natural Hazards Partnership would like to invite you to their conference aimed at professionals working in the natural hazards and resilience arena, including government, responders and academia. Sir Patrick Vallance, Government Chief Scientific Advisor, is confirmed as our keynote speaker at the start of day 2, of the conference. Discussions will be focussed on:

  • Surface water flooding
  • Cross-sector collaboration on wildfire hazard
  • Observations from space for resilience

The conference is free to attend and delegate places are on a first come first served basis.

You have a choice of attending both days or one of the days only.

DAY 1, Tuesday 26 March - start time is 11.30 with refreshments and registration.

Conference programme starts at 12 noon and finishes at 17.00.

Presentations and discussion panels - wildfire hazard and observations from space.

Social programme available Tuesday evening.

DAY 2, Wednesday 27 March - start time is 09.30 and finishes at 15.30.

Keynote speaker - Sir Patrick Vallance.
