MSK MASTERCLASS AND JOINT INJECTION COURSE OVERVIEW

This Joint Injection Course is aimed at practitioners working with musculoskeletal patients who would like to improve their assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, including the role of, theory behind and practical use of corticosteroid joint and tissue injections.

This is a highly practical course, and consists of a series of short lectures in the morning, following by hands on demonstrations and supervised joint examination practice for the rest of the day.

Over the years our Joint Injection Course has been developed and refined by a multidisciplinary team, including expert GPs, Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Extended Scope Physiotherapists.

Our understanding around benefits and risks of Joint Injections are constantly evolving, and we ensure this course stays up to date with the latest research and evidence.

COMPLETING THE MSK AND JOINT INJECTION COURSE WILL:

• Teach you how to safely offer the right joint injections to the right patients

• Enable you to accurately diagnose and differentiate between a range of MSK conditions, where corticosteroid injections might be indicated

• Train you to use bony landmarks to identify the correct needle placement site and direction, in order to reach a number of key anatomical areas

• Equip you with a range of ongoing management and exercise plans, giving your patients the best chance of long term symptom relief
