The Reinventing Retirement 50plus Chapter Global Roadshow serves as a networking platform for Baby-boomers and X-Gens interested in envisioning a society that offers new opportunities for seniors and redefines the concept of retirement, inspired and motivated by the SDGs.
The roadshow events comprise monthly online sessions, which will happen every first Tuesday of the month, 6:00 PM CET, and also presential meet ups, in a different city. For 2023 we are scheduling meet-ups in Berlin, 21st September, Amsterdam, 19th October, London, 15th November, and Lisbon, 7th December. The 2024 schedule for meet-ups is still being developed.
The 50plus Chapter represents a special Catalyst2030 initiative aimed at mobilizing individuals from the Baby-boomer and X Generations. We are seeking seasoned and qualified professionals who are eager to contribute their expertise towards achieving the SDGs.
Catalyst 2030 is a fast-growing global movement comprising individuals and organizations committed to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDGs). Launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2020, it was founded by award-winning social entrepreneurs in partnership with Ashoka, Echoing Green, the Schwab Foundation, and the Skoll Foundation. Our community, spanning 110+ countries, consists of 2,000+ social entrepreneurs and impact actors who firmly believe in the power of collaboration. Together, we strive to challenge existing systems by changing the narrative and engaging with governments, grassroots organizers, NGOs, and other social impact actors.
The 50plus Chapter operates in partnership with LIFELONG, a social startup with a mission to promote a New Longevity mindset and provide support to individuals and organizations facing this challenge.
