About this event

  • 2 hours

Dr Cathy Sloan's Messy Connections book on addiction recovery art practices is finally here, and it's published by Routledge.

Join us for the launch in an evening's celebration at this London College of Music, University of West London (UWL) and Addiction Recovery Arts Network joint event. There will be a music performance by Simon Mason (Hightown Pirates) and spoken word by Hannah Stanislaus (Lost Souls Events) alongside insights from Dr Cathy Sloan about her ground-breaking new book. The evening is hosted by artist and UWL researcher leon clowes.

This sober event will take place in Freddie's Bar (named after alumnus Freddie Mercury) in University of West London Students' Union. Don't miss out on the opportunity to meet the author and mingle with fellow recovery artists. It is going to be a fantastic evening - see you there!
