About this event

This May we’re welcoming the wonderful Francois Haasbroek from Blackwater Wines for our next Meet the Winemaker Dinner. Taking to the spotlight at our Humble Grape wine bar in Islington, Francois has traveled from South Africa to treat us to an exciting evening celebrating some of the best wine the region has to offer.

Sourcing great grapes, Blackwater Wines sets out to find fascinating and interesting sites across the Western Cape, building long-term relationships with landowners. With vineyards across the entire region, Francois has built an eclectic collection of South African wines that are small in production and massive in passion.

Our wines will be paired perfectly with six dishes from our talented Executive Chef.
