About this event

This 4.5 mile (7km) guided Ranger walk visits a wonderful and ecologically-important Broadland fen site, and also enjoys stunning views looking over St Benet's Abbey and the surrounding countryside.

Additional information

The walk will commence and conclude at South Walsham Staithe slipway (NR13 6ED). There is limited parking for cars at a free car park on Broad Lane in South Walsham.

Please check the weather forecast in advance and bring suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Depending on recent rainfall this route may be muddy in places.

Refreshments are not included but you may wish to bring your own drinks and lunch. Breaks will be taken along the route. There are no toilet facilities on route.

Event is suitable for those over the age of 8. Dogs are allowed on leads.
