Welcome to the launch of the Make Listening Safe Campaign UK!
Join us on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 17:00 GMT for an exciting event aimed at raising awareness about safe listening practices.

At this in-person event, we'll be celebrating the launch of the Make Listening Safe Campaign in the UK - designed to prevent hearing loss in the UK.
Our mission is to promote healthy hearing habits and prevent noise-induced hearing loss. The Make Listening Safe Campaign is an initiative of The World Health Organisation focussed on increasing the awareness amongst those between 10 to 40 years of age of the causes of avoidable hearing loss.
Throughout the event, you can expect an array of engaging activities, including a live experiential activity and informative talks from renowned experts in the field. It will be a great opportunity to network with colleagues from the world of hearing health, music, headphone manufacturers and more, as well as learning about the impact of loud music on our hearing and discover practical ways to protect our ears.
Keynote Speakers include Dr Shelly Chadha from The World Health Organisation, Mark Laureyns & Amarilis Melendez Medina Co- chairs of the global Make Listening Safe Campaign, Professor Stephen Dance from London South Bank University and Dr Dalia Tsimpida from the University of Southampton.
