Every week, under-represented people will gather together on Zoom to talk about their experiences in STEM. One chosen inspiring speaker will kick-off each weekly gathering by sharing their story for 15 mins, this will be followed by audience audience opportunity to share back.
Dr Shini Somara- who identifies as a woman of colour, is a science communicator, author, producer, and mechanical engineer, who has previously hosted and produced a STEM podcast series for women in STEM. Now Dr Shini invites any of you who have ever felt sidelined in STEM to join our group podcast, called Making a Difference through our Differences (or MADTOD). MADTOD aims to hold a space for a support network for minorities in STEM to feel seen and heard.
