As part of the partnership between Scottish Book Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support, people who have taken part in our storytelling project are invited to attend a monthly online storytime session to meet others, have a chat and watch some stories.
If you would like to submit your story to be viewed during the storytime you are attending, please email chris.leslie@scottishbooktrust.com.
How do I join this online meeting?
First, click ‘Register' to get a ticket - tickets are free. When you register, you will be sent a confirmation email with a link to add the event to your calendar if you wish.
You can access the meeting in a few different ways.
From your registration email: When you get the email, click on ‘view the event’. That will take you to a page containing the link for our meeting, and the passcode you will need to type in.
From your reminder emails: you'll get three reminder emails before the event. Again, there will be a link in these emails saying 'View the Event' or 'Join the Event'. Click on this, and you'll see the event page with the link and passcode for the meeting.
From the Eventbrite home page: when you go to the Eventbrite website at eventbrite.co.uk, you'll see a link to 'Tickets' at the top right. Click on this, and you'll see all the events you've registered for. Find the Macmillan Storytime event, and click on 'Go to online event page' and you'll see the event page with the link and passcode for the meeting.
