About this event

Do you want a space to explore being as much of yourself as you can in the moment?

Do you want to meet and witness others being authentically themselves?

Do you want to see and feel what is possible

when we strive to truly meet and connect with each other?

Join our all day low cost encounter to explore how we can experience the potential arising from meeting each other with the core conditions of empathy, unconditional positive regard and congruence.

An encounter happens when I meet you as you – open to seeing and hearing you uniquely in the moment, rather than through any projections or assumptions I may have. An encounter happens when you dare to risk being vulnerable, sharing just who you are and how you feel.

This is an unfacilitated group so we do expect people to take responsibility for themselves and the day will be what we make it. Encounter is different every time. We may consider the encounter to be in the spirit of Martin Buber’s I-Thou meeting – a constant discovery of the unknowingness of who the other is and a willingness to see them freshly.

This is a way to feel more alive… be with the sometimes discomfort of the differences that arise alongside our shared humanity… and perhaps even to feel and receive love…

“Man wishes to be confirmed in his being by man, and wishes to have a presence in the being of the other…. Secretly and bashfully he watches for a YES which allows him to be and which can come to him only from one human person to another.” Martin Buber, I and Thou
