About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Don't know where to start when it comes to making your home more cost efficient and carbon friendly? Concerned about the time and money it might take to make changes to the environmental impact of your home?

It’s often about lots of little things as well as the bigger ones.

Come and meet local home owners who have faced similar challenges and hear what they have done, and the lessons learnt. It’s also a great opportunity to tap into the carbon and energy savings findings and analysis completed so far on homes in Alwoodley.

Local Alwoodley resident Sarann Dean will give an overview of some amazing changes she has made. In her words, "While certainly not perfect, it was realistic for us in terms of cost, intrusiveness, and our environmental aims"

There will also be the opportunity for people to take advantage of the very kind offer to have free assessments completed on their homes to help with understanding any changes that they can make.

This in-person event will be held at St John's Church. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn and connect with like-minded individuals passionate about reducing their carbon footprint!
