About this event

The annual Leyton Jumble Trail aims to bring together our community in a fun-filled day of discovery, interaction, and treasure hunting. It is a fantastic opportunity to declutter your homes, meet new neighbours, and perhaps uncover some hidden gems along the way!

The Jumble Trail is not just about buying and selling; it's about building connections and fostering a sense of community. We encourage you to come along as a visitor! Take a leisurely stroll through our vibrant neighbourhood, enjoy the lively atmosphere, and support your neighbours by purchasing their unique wares (see how you can support and contribute for FREE at the end of this info).

Once again, The Birkbeck Tavern will be opening its garden and putting on a BBQ for shoppers wanting to take a break, and we have some exciting music to reenergise you!

This year, we will be working with the Waltham Forest Disability Resource Centre who run supported activities for disabled adults in the community.

To register for a stall at the Jumble Trail, simply buy a ticket on Eventbrite, or send an email to leytonjumble@gmail.com indicating what you intend to sell or display. You can also pop into the Waltham Forest Disability Centre and register there.

Take a look at the map to see if you fall within the highlighted area. If not, feel free to send us an email and we'll see if we can help out with finding a location for you to set up a stall.

On the 26th July, a map will appear online displaying all the seller locations so you know where to wander to in order to find some bargains.

The 'ticket' fee is £6.50. Early bird tickets are available at £5 until 7th July. which will go towards:

  • Waltham Forest Disability Resource Centre - a charity which we think benefits the local area greatly!
  • A pin on the map indicating where and what you will be selling - to ensure people know you are there!
  • Any other organising expenses and additional community initiatives - to ensure a good time is had by all!

If you do not have a outdoor front space, please send us an email and we can try to allocate a plot for you.

Feel free to invite friends, family, and neighbours to join in on the fun. Together, let's make this year's Jumble Trail an event to remember!

Happy selling!

Support and contribute, even without having a stall.

Whether you're having a stall or not, we'd LOVE it if you would sign up to a FREE board outside your home advertising the Jumble Trail. Our lovely sponsors The Stow Bros will take care of the erecting and removing them and they make a donation for every board they put up! Last year this helped us raise £200. This made a huge difference and we'd like to beat that this time!

Refunds are not offered as payments are considered charitable donations.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Jumble Trail?

It's a neighborhood-wide sale where participating households set up stalls or displays outside their homes, selling pre-loved items, crafts, homemade treats, and much more. It's like a sprawling outdoor market, where you never know what treasures you might find!

What area will the Jumble Trail cover?

We plan to include as many stalls as possible between Leyton Station (Central Line) and Crownfield Road.
