Let's discuss the proposed changes to disability benefits - Event
On Thursday 22nd May, we will host an informative and accessible event to explore the government’s proposed changes to the benefits system and what this could mean for Disabled people. We will also explore how we can make our voices heard.
We will ask you to tell us what you think of and feel about the proposed changes. You can share your comments during an interactive discussion. You will also be able to share your thoughts and feelings on the day, either in writing, or by recording an audio clip or filming a short video clip. All feedback will power our policy and campaigns work.
Invitations will be extended to our two local MPs - Siobhain McDonagh MP (Labour) and Paul Kohler MP (Liberal Democrats).
We hope both MPs will join us to listen to how the proposed changes to benefits are impacting the Disabled community and use this to inform their decisions in parliament.
