The ‘Learn to Ride' sessions are aimed at those who either can’t pedal independently or just want to build up their confidence in cycling. These sessions are suitable for all ages (5+yrs) all the way up to adults.
We are encouraging families to come together to either learn how to ride or to gain confidence in their current cycling ability which will enable you to enjoy and achieve together long after this session. The sessions will help transition participants from stabilisers to free wheels and is designed to improve their "Balance" and "confidence" in the first instance but will also look to progress those who are ready to pedal.
We also have a wide range of confidence building games and tips for parents to feel confident taking their family out for a family ride using the local infrastructure.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes where possible, as it will help their future and continued development, although we can provide bikes and helmets for anyone wanting to take part.
Each child must be accompanied by an adult willing to get involved in the session.
