New Book Club Alert: Leafing Through
A cozy new gathering for nature lovers!
Leafing Through is a relaxed, welcoming reading group where we’ll dive into fiction and non-fiction that explores and strengthens our connection with the natural world. Whether you’re a longtime reader or just looking for a good book and good company, this will be a comforting space for thoughtful conversation, reflection, and community.
Our first meeting is on Sunday, June 1st, and we’ll continue to meet on the first Sunday of every month.
We’re starting with The History of Bees by Maja Lunde — a beautifully woven novel that spans centuries and continents, following three beekeepers whose stories reveal the fragile bond between humans and nature. It’s moving, urgent, and full of heart — the perfect place to begin.
Namitha will be facilitating to start with, but the hope is for this to grow into a shared space — where anyone who feels inspired can step in to guide a discussion, suggest a future read, or just show up and be part of the conversation!
Come leaf through stories with us - and maybe find a little more rootedness, together.
