About this event

We are bringing together HEIW, USW, the Coaching Pool, RIC Hub and the Health and Care Academy to showcase the support available to you as a leader in Health and Social Care. Throughout the day there will be talks and demonstrations which can be booked onto in person. Talks will be streamed live and post event streams made available to those unable to make the timings on the day.

The event will be taking place at the Health and Care Academy, Bronllys on 3rd July 2023.

Jessica Bardsley – Regional Innovation Co-ordination (RIC) Hub Business Support Manager Amy Price – Research and Development Manager/ RIC Hub Project Manager Amanda Edwards – Assistant Director of Innovation and Improvement The Regional Innovation Co-ordination Hub, hosted by The School of Research, Development, and Innovation at PTHB, talks to you about how innovation and research can benefit leaders and how innovative approaches like HoloLens and Pepper can support services.

Rachael Layton - Reviewing Community Support Officer Rachel will be talking about the impact of developing her coaching skills has had on the outcomes of citizens of Powys. Rachael will discuss the everyday applications of coaching principles in her role in Social Care and why she feels it is important to aid the positive outcomes of those we serve.
