This is for you if you are a podcast novice, thinking of launching your own who ultimately wants to grow and monetise your own show.

I would also familiarise yourself with podcasts already in your chosen niche (if you already think you know it) and to think about both the purpose of your podcast, and your ideal podcast listener.

You may want to bring a laptop as well as a pad and pen, so you can work along as we go through the day.

About the Instructor

Alex launched his career at BBC Radio, interviewing both current affairs and sporting figures for their daily news programme, and went on to host his own entertainment show on Radio Five Live.

He now hosts Screw It Just DO It, a podcast in the top 1% of all global podcasts, listened to in 180+ countries and which has been #1 everywhere from the UK to Uganda.

He launched it in 2017 to two downloads, clearly his wife and his mother..but he didn't know then what he now knows..

He's been lucky enough to interview everyone from Dragons like Steven Bartlett and Piers Linney to Lord's like Lord Bilimoria, through to sporting stars like James Haskell, Chemmy Alcott and Chris Billam-Smith through to TV Stars like Jamie Laing and Fleur East.

He originally left to travel the world with Virgin Atlantic Airways where, inspired by working for Sir Richard Branson, he left to start a number of startups in the health and fitness industry, both online and off-line.

He then put the knowledge gained into mentoring entrepreneurs as the number #1 business advisor for Virgin StartUp where he helped 500+ entreprenerus access mentoring and £5M+ in funding.

Whilst at Virgin StartUp he launched Screw It Just Do It, and shortly after went all-in on podcasting, starting his own podcast agency, Podpreneur.

He has since gone on to launch 150+ successful podcasts in every niche you can imagine, from insects to ski chalets and everything in-between.

Alex's combination of business plus podcasting and radio experience ideally places him in a position to help you use podcasting to grow your personal or business brand.
