Lancaster and the Spanish Civil War Walking Tour
Join us for an exploration of Lancaster's connection to the Spanish Civil War.· In 1937, 10 children and their teacher came to Lancaster as refugees, fleeing the bombs of fascism. They stayed at Nazareth House, and interacted with the local community.
· Learn about refugee and solidarity history in Lancaster
· The walk lasts approx. 2 hours. Bring decent footwear, drinks and snacks. Fully accessible
· Meet Saturday 8th June @ 2pm – ticket office side – Lancaster Train station.
