Keeping Calligraphy Alive! Beginners Taster Session

Time: 7-9 pm
Location: East Hardwick Village Hall, Pontefract
If you are a complete newbie or self taught and want to go back to basics, this session is perfect for you.
We will show you the equipment needed, learn some pen strokes and practice a basic script.
Please bring some A4 or A3 paper, a pencil and a ruler. You will need an Edding 1255 (3.5mm) fibre pen - these will be available for sale on the night for £2.50.
We will be inviting all attendees join our regular Tuesday classes from 24 September to learn more about the basics of calligraphy, practice different styles, and unleash your creativity. (Membership fees apply).
