Get ready for an unforgettable intimate evening with Jeremy Dutcher as he makes his London debut at Servant Jazz Quarters.

Jeremy Dutcher is a Two-Spirit song carrier, composer, activist, ethnomusicologist and member of Neqotkuk (Tobique First Nation) in Eastern Canada. He gained international acclaim for his album Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa, which earned him the 2018 Polaris Music Prize, a 2019 JUNO Award, and number 20 on NPR's top albums of the year.

This next sonic journey, Motewolonuwok ᒣᑏᐧᐁᓓᓄᐧᐁᒃ , is rooted in an ancestor quote:
Tan qiniw iyuwok wasis kpomawsuwinuwok, ‘tankeyutomon-oc kihtahkomikomon.
As long as there is a child among our people, we will protect the land.

Jeremy's music blends the song tradition of his community with neoclassical, jazz, and pop influences, and has led him to collaborate with such iconic artists as Yo-Yo Ma and Beverly Glenn Copeland.

Experience his mesmerizing vocals and unique blend of traditional Indigenous music and contemporary sounds live in person.
