What is longform improv?!

Many people know improv as as fast games with lots of laughs. It is that... and also, so much more!! Improv can be longer, it can be dramatic, it can have layers and twists and turns. Come join us for a journey through improv's more complex and theatrical side.

Together in this intro to longform improv course we will explore the skills of long-form from beginning to performance level. We'll look at different structures for long-form shows and how a group can take a single word suggestion and create a whole piece of theatre from it.

This is a supportive and fun environment where you can relax into silliness! Each class will include games and exercises to get us feeling loose and inspire fun, and then dive us into the topic of the day. You will be on your feet, active, trying and playing - laughs are guaranteed!
