About this event

  • 5 hours 30 minutes

Do you know your Hornwort from your Spearwort? Or your Frogbit from your Waterlily? Not sure? Then this is the event for you!

Join us for an introduction to identifying aquatic plants with expert ecologists from ecological consultants Greenwillows Associates. Getting hands on and up close, you will learn to recognise some common aquatic plant species whilst you are out and about in nature. With these skills under your belt, you'll also be able to help us monitor the aquatic environments in the NLOW area by submitting your identification records to us. What's not to love?!

All equipment will be provided on the day, but please do dress for the weather as you will be spending time outside, and you will need to bring your own lunch.

This event is suitable for adults only.
