Frequently asked questions

I have not been Forest Bathing before or done any mindfulness, can I still come?

Yes, this session is open to all. Your guide, Amy, will invite you to take part in different activities at a comfort level that suits you. The primary goal is to connect with nature while offering you a valuable opportunity to step away from work, screens, and the demands of daily life.

What do I need to wear?

Layering is key and waterproof outerwear is a must. Further instructions will be provided, but please note that Forest Bathing involves a slow, mindful walk through nature, with moments of stillness. Dressing warmly (even in Spring and Summer)and bringing snacks, along with a drink, are essential.

Why is the session free but I have to pay for parking?

Amy - your trainee Forest Bathing+ guide is still learning so the sessions provide her with valuable experience. Parking is payable (4-6 pounds) at the site unless you are a National Trust Member. Further information on parking payment and meeting points will be sent to you via email.
