Influencing Policymakers with your Research

Having your research inform policy, whether at local, national or international levels, can be a really important step in scaling out the impact of your work. But how to start this possibly daunting process? In this session we will:

· What is policy impact?

· Impact planning and policy impact

· Impact and advocacy - the role of stakeholders

· Signposting different routes to UK policy engagement

· Developing pathways to policy change – who will you target, and how can they be reached?
