Healthy Start Training
Healthy Start cards enable households on means tested benefits or on a low income to access £4.25 of free food per week and free vitamins. The cards can be used at a wide range of shops. Please do sign up if you'd like to know more. This training is being provided by Public Health for the borough. The session is designed to give people working in community food initiatives the skills and confidence to help eligible households apply for a Health Start card. You can join the training online or come to The Hornbeam where we will have tea and biscuits, an opportunity to meet eachother and can do the online training together. The event is open to anyone working with parents facing food insecurity.
