About this event

This session will provide information about the Health & Social Care courses on offer at UHI Argyll and the different progression routes available. It will cover:

SWAP Access to Nursing
NQ Health & Social Care
Access to Care (Jan start)
Introduction to a Career in Social Care (online 6 weeks)
SVQs and HNC Social Care

You will also have the opportunity to take part in a practical activity where we will look at how the National Early Warning Score (NEWS2) chart is used to assess illness severity, work out a drugs calculation and practice delivering CPR.

Booking Information

Due to limited capacity in our Arran and Islay centres, you will be required to join this session from home if you are based on Arran or Islay. Please ensure you select the correct ticket type when booking.
