Join us for our very first SWAP auction.
A sustainable but quirky way to update your wardrobe for the cost of a ticket!
Drop your swaps in exchange for tokens, pick up a paddle, order your food or snacks and drinks from the bar before taking a seat for the auction to start and the fun to unfold.
Get ready to be quick off the mark to get your paddle up once the auction starts. First paddle up wins the item and remember the auctioneers decision is final. No heckling please 😂

How it works.
You bring up to 5 high quality items that you no longer wear and drop them off anytime between 6pm and 7pm in exchange for tokens. Sorry no shoes and accessories in the auction.
See FAQ's for prohibited garments such as underwear.
Tokens will be awarded on quality of garment and auctioned accordingly.
Once you have got your tokens and collected a paddle you can order food and drinks at the bar. Nibbles, chips and graze boards will be available to purchase before taking a seat ready for the auction to start. Viewing will be allowed from 7-7.30pm so you can see what you need to look out for!
The auctioneer will the start the auction holding up garments and giving size details. The first to hold up their paddle wins the item. A runner will then give you the item in exchange for the required number of tokens. If you use up all your tokens you can then swap the garments you have but if there's any competition, if the other person still has tokens, they will win. Remember the auctioneers decision is final.
The auction will run for 1.5 hours.
Once the auction is over you will have a chance to try on and swap with any items on the rails or use up any tokens you have left.
Please make time to read all the FAQ's for all the finer details. Sorry no returns. We will do our best to ensure items are all perfect but please check before you leave.
We kindly request, for the comfort of those trying on clothes, no gentlemen permitted in The Earlham apart from the chef!

Frequently asked questions
Up to 5 high quality items that you won’t be embarrassed of when it’s held up. We respect the right to reject items that don’t meet our standards.
We want great quality items and want to encourage you to choose swaps you would really like not just bring and take items to make up the number.
Underwear, swimwear, sportswear. Please don't bring leggings, vest tops or t-shirts unless they are designer labels such as Ralph Lauren and are in great condition. See individual events for other restrictions such as garment brands. If in doubt our advice is leave it out!
YES. We are not sizeist! However please bear in mind we have no idea what size people attend. If you’re not an average size 10-16 then our advice is to come with a few friends the same size as you to be sure there's lots of choice. Garment sizes are just a guide so worth remembering.
If you have some lovely items and you are happy with your swaps we don't encourage picking up additional items you don't want and won't wear. Just hand back the tokens or grab an item for a friend.
