What is the price of tickets?

Adult ticket - £8.50

Each ticket paying adult can bring up to 2 children (12y or younger) for free.

Additional Children’s ticket (12 years and under) - £5

What does this ticket price include?

The Light Show Spectacular will be an awe-inspiring display across the breath-taking façade of Waltham Forest Town Hall. Featuring street food and a full service bar and live entertainment and pre main performance musical show.

Question 3

Where does the ticket money for the event go to?

The money will go towards the overall running and organisation of the event.

Question 4

Why are you charging for tickets this year?

Accepted Answer

The event is different this year from the traditional regular firework display. We have chosen to do a Light Show to be more environmentally friendly and reduce the noise disruption that fireworks cause.

Why are you doing a light show instead of fireworks display this year?

Accepted Answer

We are running a light show to be more environmentally friendly with less sound and air pollution created than from a traditional firework display.

Question 6

Will the show continue if it rains or there is adverse weather?

Accepted Answer

The show will continue if there is rain.

If there are severe weather conditions that would be a risk to people's safety and wellbeing, then we would cancel the event for safety.

Will I get a refund if this happens?

In the unlikely  event of a cancellation by the organiser we will contact ticket holders to organise a refund

Who is providing your light display this year?

We are proud to be working with The Guild Hall Live Events team to provide the Light Show. The Guild Hall have experience in producing Light Shows for various organisations and local authorities.

Will there be food and drink at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes – Street food will be provided by Kerb+ and drink will be provided by Big Penny Social

What type of food and drink will you be providing?

Accepted Answer

There will be a range of Street food catering for all dietary requirements and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from Big Penny Social, including a beer they are creating especially for the Light Show event.

Do you have payment card facilities onsite?

Accepted Answer

All of our vendors will have card payment facilities as it is a cashless event.

Question 12

What time do the gates open?

Accepted Answer

The gates will open at 3:30pm for the first show of the evening with the main Light Show performance starting at 5:30pm.

The gates will open at 7pm for the second show of the evening with the main Light Show performance starting at 9pm

What time does the square open and close on the 3rd, 4th and 5th November

The square closes at 3pm, but last admittance into the square is 2.30pm in order to give us time to clear the square and make it safe for the public. For ticket holders of the first event of the day (3:30 – 6pm) we will begin ushering people off the site via Farnan Avenue at 6pm

There will only be parking for blue badge holders.

Yes - Pushchairs are allowed on site

What is the accessibility of the event?

The site is fully accessible for wheelchairs, there is very limited parking for blue badge holders which must be booked in advance,  if you are a blue badge holder please contact organiser on Eventbrite

What are the safety and security provisions?

Bag checks on entry by our security provider.

Roaming security guards during all shows.

Lost child action plan.

Anti Social Behaviour officers will be on site

Event stewards in high visibility jackets will be working during all shows

Fire evacuation plan and clear exit and entrances
