Cambs LMC is hosting this regional GPC England Roadshow for local LMCs.


This is a free event to be held on the afternoon of Wednesday 17 July at the Kingsgate Conference Centre in Peterborough and is open to all GPs, GPRs, Practice Managers and Nurses from all constituent practice teams across the region.


Please arrive for a 13:30 registration, to start promptly at 14:00. The GPCE update will finish at approximately 16:00 to be followed by a local update and tips on managing your workload.

  • Hear about phase one of GP action starting with a ballot of GP Partners from 17-29 July.
  • Listen to expert KC opinion on the risks associated with any action, and why what we are proposing will be safe for you, your staff, your business, and your patients
  • See the vision, strategy and aims for the months ahead leading up to and after the general election
  • Hear how the wider team of Salaried GPs, GP Nurses and Practice Managers will be essential for success


What to expect?

  • A chance to discuss and debate with other peers, understand the ballot and what is safe action for you as a contract holder.
  • Meet local BMA officers and join the BMA with your first 3 months of membership free, and collect your campaign materials to take back to the practice
  • Practice Managers, Salaried GPs and Practice Nurses are very welcome
  • After briefings there will be plenty of time for questions and wider discussions around our next steps, over the short, medium, and long term.
