Karibu to Lugha Swahili School. We are an online platform that offers Kiswahili language lessons from Beginners to Lower-Intermediate level. The school offers students flexible way of learning Swahili, either through our well-designed self-paced online course or/and virtual group Swahili classes with native Tanzanian, English-speaking tutors.

How hard is it to learn Swahili?

Kiswahili is the simplest African language to learn for an English speaker. It is one of the few sub-Saharan African languages, like English, that lacks lexical tone. Kiswahili uses the Latin Script and is written phonetically, so each letter represents one sound in the language.

Do you offer Beginners to Advanced level Swahili lessons?

Yes, Lugha Swahili Schools offers classes from beginners, lower-intermediate, higher-intermediate and advanced. Currently the higher-intermediare and advanced are under construction. All lessons can be offered as an online video course or virtual teaching.
