About this event

Join the Living Wage Foundation and Timewise at the Foundling Museum on Thursday the 27th of June from 10 am – 12.00 pm to explore the role of security and flexibility in shaping the future of good work.

Flexibility and security in work are needed now more than ever, yet they are sometimes presented as incompatible. Alongside representatives from Timewise and the Resolution Foundation, we will be welcoming a diverse panel of employers and employees from across the private and third sectors to:

  • bust some myths around security and flexibility
  • share their insights into the difference secure and flexible work makes to people’s lives and to successful business
  • share inspiring stories of how employers can provide security and flexibility to their workers

The Living Hours initiative is one practical solution that employers can adopt to go further in supporting their workers, by providing the security and stability they need to thrive.

Our panellists and presenters include:

  • Jeff Bakes, International Total Rewards Director at IKEA
  • Nick Cooper, Managing Director of Adept Corporate Services
  • Rebecca Friel, CEO of Odd Arts
  • Gail Irvine, Head of Business Development and Policy at the Living Wage Foundation
  • Clare McNeil, Policy and Innovation Director at Timewise

Full lineup to be announced.
