At the University of Bristol, our vision is to create and sustain a research culture that values and celebrates the diversity of research, encourages collaboration and innovation, promotes openness and transparency, provides a range of stable career pathways for researchers and ensures effective management and leadership at all levels.
Over the course of the last two years our work in this area has been kickstarted through dedicated funding from Research England enabling us to support academic, technical and professional services staff through a range of different research culture activities.
We’d like to invite colleagues from across the University to MShed for our annual Festival of Research Culture, where we celebrate the excellent activities and work taken place to date and look forward to the future of research culture at the University of Bristol.
Join us to;
- Find out about key Research Culture projects and activities from across the University
- Discover interdisciplinary opportunities from outside your field or area of work
- Hear from our key note speaker Vice-Chancellor and President Evelyn Welch about the future of research culture at University of Bristol
- Discuss how we can continue striving to make the University of Bristol an innovative, inclusive and collaborative research environment
Refreshments including lunch will be provided throughout the day during this free event, with opportunities for networking and collaboration.
