About this event

On the days ahead of the festival we are looking for people who are willing to take on general duties as we assemble the site. Please simply sign up and our volunteer co-ordinator will make contact nearer the time to give you more details.

Remember, you are more than welcome to take on several slots, but please don’t do so at the expense of inviting, and accompanying a friend along to the festival. Shortly after you have signed up for a slot we will reach out to you by email to give you more detail.

There will be a training for all Festival Friends on 3 June at Tees Valley Community Church. It will prepare you with all the practical information that you will need. Booking is essential and can be done here by clicking the blue link below!

Frequently asked questions

I have accessibility needs. Am I still able to be a Festival Friend?

Absolutely! Please just send an email to ukoffice@palau.org with an idea of the specific needs you have and the area that you would most like to help out with, and a member from our Volunteer Engagement Team will make contact with you.

Will I receive training?

It is essential that everyone who wants to become a Festival Friend attends our Festival Friend Training session on 3 June at Tees Valley Community Church. It will prepare you with all the practical information that you will need. Booking is essential and can be done here.

What will happen next?

Shortly after you have signed up for a slot we will reach out to you by email to give you more detail. This might take a couple of days, but we will be in contact!
