About the chef:

Val has over 20 years experience working as a chef in great restaurants in Dublin, UK, Asia and Scandinavian countries.

Fermentation is part of his culture as he grew up in Romania where fermented foods are part of everyday meals. This, along with his passion for cooking and traveling, is what makes Fairmental.

Through these workshops, Val want to not only teach people how to ferment, but also to show that everyday normal food can be exciting, tastier and better for you when you add these ferments! This is a class where sustainabillity, food waste managment, conection to our food and tradition comes in!
