Welcome to our Dementia Friends Workshop!

Dementia Friends is a national initiative to help people develop an understanding of dementia and the small things they can do to make a difference to people living with the condition.

Come join us in the Guest Room, Carers Trust Hillingdon for an interactive session where you can learn more about dementia and how to support those living with it. This in-person event is a great opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and practical tips on how to make a positive difference in the lives of people with dementia.

The key topics we cover are:

  • What is Dementia?
  • What functions does Dementia affect?
  • How to live well with Dementia?
  • Understanding what happens to someone’s memory when they have Dementia.
  • Find out about local services available in Hillingdon for people living with Dementia and their carers.

Our workshop is designed to be informative and engaging, with plenty of opportunities for discussion and questions. Whether you're a caregiver, family member, or just interested in learning more, this workshop is for you.

Become a Dementia Friend and help create a more dementia-friendly community!
