This is an event for parents / carers, looking for additional advice around complex social care issues for their child / young person who has been diagnosed with a disability and live in Warwickshire.

Information before booking a consultation with the Children with Disabilities Team

All children, young people and families in Warwickshire are entitled to receive Early Help. This means offering information, advice, guidance, and support to families as soon as a concern emerges or seems likely to emerge. The Early Help Team - Family Support worker can be contacted over the telephone on 01926 412412, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm.

Please note the Children with Disabilities Team are unable to offer advice around pre diagnosis, a health care need or education issue. Please contact your child / young person’s GP and health care practitioner regarding health, and school / SENDAR for education /post EHCP advice.

Children with Disabilities Consultation

The consultation is for parents / carers that are looking for additional advice surrounding a child/ren with disabilities on areas such as behaviours, routines, toileting etc.

This will be a chance for some specialist advice provided by members of the Children with Disabilities Team. These will be 30 minute telephone slots for discussions to help support you currently with any social care issues arising.

This is not a referral into the CWDT but a chance to gain some advice from the team.
