About this event

  • 3 hours

There’s a revival of interest in allotments across the UK, yet little is known about them. In a pioneering study Birmingham University has teamed up with the Birmingham Allotments Confederation to find out who are the plot-holders; what benefits they get; what they produce and how allotments can develop in an era of austerity. With returns from nearly 900 plot-holders and 50 sites this is a major grass-roots study. Join this seminar to hear the main findings and contribute to the discussion.
