About this event
Join us at the beautiful Painted Barn Barham Broom for a lovely afternoon of coffee/tea & cake combined with a clothes swap.
Drop your swap items and exchange for tokens before taking a seat and enjoying your choice of hot drink and freshly made cake, chatting with friends and meeting new people.
Return to the swap to exchange your tokens for some new to you items and leave with an updated wardrobe.
This is a private function and the barn will be closed to the public but you will still be able to enjoy the benefits of browsing the wonderful homeware section and make purchases if you wish.
Don't worry if you're new to clothes swapping – it's super easy! Just bring your gently worn garments and accessories, and our friendly team will guide you through the process.
Please advise of any DIETARY needs PRIOR to purchasing a ticket.
How it works.
You can bring up to 5 high quality items that and drop them off between 2pm and 2.30pm in exchange for tokens.
See FAQ's for prohibited garments such as underwear.
Sorry no ultra fast fashion brands such as Primark, Shein, Pretty Little Thing and no supermarket clothing. H&M, Zara and Next are permitted as long as really great condition. If in doubt give us a shout.
Tokens will be awarded on quality of garment but mainly 1 token for a seperate, two for dress/coat and a gold token for a high end garment with tag which will be worth the equivalent of 5 tokens.
Once you have dropped your swaps, take a seat and enjoy a hot drink of choice and a slice of cake over a natter with friends and like minded ladies before returning to shop the swap at 3.30pm
When you have picked your items , checkout your tokens for your chosen garments and merrily go on your way.

We kindly request, for the comfort of those trying on clothes, no gentlemen permitted Please ask any questions if you are unsure of anything AND let us know PRIOR to buying your ticket if you have any DIETARY needs such as GLUTEN FEE or intolerances so we can make sure we can cater for you.

5 high quality high street/online brands and independants which can include, but are limited to 1 pair of shoes and 1 accessory only. See individual ticket info for which brands are allowed for each event.
We want great quality items and want to encourage you to choose swaps you would really like not just bring and take items to make up the number.
There are two reasons and mainly it's to make the swap fair. We don't think it would be right if someone brought 5 scarves and walked away with much higher quality items. Also, shoes tend to get left and we only have limited storage space.
Underwear, swimwear, sportswear. Please don't bring leggings, vest tops or t-shirts unless they are designer labels such as Ralph Lauren and are in great condition. See individual events for other restrictions such as garment brands. If in doubt our advice is leave it out!
YES. We are not sizeist! However please bear in mind we have no idea what size people attend. If you’re not an average size 10-16 then our advice is to come with a few friends the same size as you to be sure there's lots of choice. Garment sizes vary so don't be afraid to try a different size!
If you have some lovely items and you are happy with your swaps we don't encourage picking up additional items you don't want and won't wear. Just hand back the tokens or grab an accessory or an item for a friend.
