We are delighted to be delivering our Annual Conference on 29-30 May, 2024

Check out the programme, speaker details, and more on our online hub!

After the success of our Annual Conference in November 2022, we knew we wanted to come back and do it all again! We also recognised that November is a very busy time of year for events, and we wanted to take the time to listen to our members, delegates, partners and supporters from across the children’s sector so we can design a conference that meets your needs and expectations.

Check out the programme, speaker details, and more on our online hub!

If you have any questions, please contact us at events@childreninscotland.org.uk

Here's what delegates had to say about our Annual Conference in 2022.

"We attended as a supplier to the exhibition and also the sessions. It was a fabulous event and an amazing amount of networking going on!! P.S. the food was amazing!!"

"The conference was a really good balance of structured sessions, exhibition and opportunities for networking. I liked that the food breaks were in the exhibition space. The co-chairing by young people was absolutely brilliant."

"Key speakers were very inspiring, clearly driven by passion which was just beautiful to see. Workshops are informative, relaxed and interesting. [...] So glad to have all the resources to access after the conference as I'd like to be involved in every workshop - real FOMO!"

If you're interested in being involved in the conference, check out our Conference Hub for more details about exhibiting.

Accessibility

The Children in Scotland Learning and Events Team is committed to doing all we can to ensure our learning opportunities are accessible to everyone. If you require any adjustments to assist your learning, whether they be about course materials or delivery format, please do contact us at events@childreninscotland.org.uk to discuss.

Covid Considerations

While the government has lifted restrictions, we recognise that the virus is still with us.

With that in mind, we have introduced an interim response: we ask that if you are feeling unwell with Covid symptoms or test positive, you do not attend so that the virus is not spread.

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to offer refunds if you are unable to attend an event due to Covid.

However, in these circumstances, we will offer you a place at an alternative event.

If you develop symptoms and/or test positive within 3 days of attending an event with Children in Scotland we ask that you email us at events@childreninscotland.org.uk so we may notify attendees of exposure.

Cancellation Policy

As a charity, Children in Scotland must cover the running costs of delivering events. We are therefore not in a position to offer refunds except under extenuating circumstances, in which case an administration fee would be applied.

Copyright and data sharing

Please note that your personal details may be shared with the trainer for training purposes. These details will be deleted once the event has taken place.

During the event photographs and/or video may be taken for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or videoed please alert a member of the Children in Scotland staff on the day.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email events@childreninscotland.org.uk.

Organised by

We are a national charity working to improve children’s lives. One of our key priorities is to strengthen the children's sector workforce across Scotland.

We do this by bringing learning opportunities to life, whether that be in-person or online. Please find our currently announced schedule of events on our page and if you are looking to organise CPD for your organisation please don't hesitate to reach out to events@childreninscotland.org.uk.
