Join us for a special Charity Horse Racing Evening on Friday 31st May at Kettering Athletic Club to raise money in memory of our boys, Reggie and Lennie Thomas. This is a ticketed event so remember to purchase your entry ticket before the evening before they sell out!
The doors will open at 7pm and the first race will start at 7.30pm.
Before the night:
- If you want to increase your chances of winning, you can either Name a Horse or Buy a Jockey before the night (If your horse/ jockey wins a race, you could win even more money than betting via the tote on the night!). But there is no obligation!
- Local businesses can also have a race named after them if they wished by Sponsoring a Race.
What happens on the night?
- A race night consists of eight races with eight horses per race.
- You will receive a race card on arrival with details of the horses, jockeys and the race sponsor.
- The first race will begin at 7:30pm and you can place bets beforehand on your chosen horse/s and receive tote tickets. CASH ONLY on the night.
- The races are projected onto a big screen with sound and the excitement is exactly the same as a real race so expect lots of shouting and cheering as the horses reach the finish line!
- Once the race has finished, if your horse wins, you can collect your winnings!
