Our workshop focuses on Spiritual Enrichment, Self-Discovery, and Personal Growth. It integrates Christian faith with psychological insights, emphasizing Self-awareness, Agency, and Psychoeducation (SAP) to enhance emotional intelligence and personal connections.
The aim is to boost self-confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem.
The program includes both individual and group activities:
· Guided Exercises: Boost self-awareness, gain agency, and build emotional resilience through psychoeducation.
· Mindful Activities: Foster grounding, peace, refocusing, and clarity.
· Reflective Discussions and Biblical Insights: Deepen understanding of personal and relational dynamics.
· Shared Learning: Exchange spiritual wisdom and life experiences, enriching the learning process and deepening the spiritual dimension of personal and intellectual growth.
SELF-WORK Components:
· Christian Mindfulness Exercises: Engage in activities with a Biblical focus, including mindful walking and exploring all the senses.

Sharon Palmer is an integrative counselling and clinical supervision professional with over 10 years of experience, dedicated to supporting the growth and development of counsellors and clients. Her expertise is backed by a robust educational background and numerous certifications in group facilitation and therapeutic supervision. As a member of BACP and ACC, Sharon holds a BA (Hons) degree in counselling and psychotherapy and a master’s degree in Therapeutic Counselling & Psychotherapy. She is a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor, skilled in various modalities including CBT, Psychodynamic, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-centred, Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt, and Existential therapies.
Currently, Sharon works as a facilitator in various settings, including regular workshops, and provides clinical supervision to groups and individuals. She has earned several qualifications, including a Diploma in Integrative Supervision of Individuals and Groups, certification in Developing Effective Group Facilitation, and certification in Effective Facilitation in Therapeutic Groups. Additionally, she also holds a Diploma in Counselling Supervision.
Sharon is proficient in understanding and managing behavioural and psychological processes within counselling groups, fostering a therapeutic environment through her expertise in group dynamics. She is skilled in working with families, couples, and individuals, applying a range of Family and Systemic Psychotherapy (FSP) interventions, and is equipped with advanced knowledge and skills for providing competent supervision to counsellors, ensuring high standards of therapeutic practice.
She integrates a relational and systemic approach to therapy and supervision, emphasizing the importance of creating effective working alliances and ethical practice. Informed by ongoing professional development and a commitment to reflective practice, her interventions are evidence-based and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client or supervisee. Through her extensive training and practical experience, she fosters an environment of growth, support, and empowerment, continually striving to bring out the best in her clients and supervisees.

We will have the main host, Sharon Palmer and a number of co-hosts and administrating team assisting with registration and other admin.

Sharon Palmer is a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist with over 10 years' experience. She is also a facilitator, clinical supervisor, coach, and mentor. All team members are qualified in the field and are DBS checked. Christian participants are welcome to engage in the workshops.
