On Helsinki Pride week we open up the studio to all of our LGBTQ+ friends for some creative social events.
Join us for an afternoon in the summer sun, where we'll sit outside on the grass (or a picnic blanket, if you prefer) with a glass of wine, great company and sketching materials. We will then be joined by our life models, some gorgeous miniature horses! We'll have around 90 minutes to meet and sketch our unicorn friends, then we can spend the rest of the time working on art and socialising together by the water.
You do not have to be an artist to attend – anyone is welcome to come and have a go at sketching and our studio artists will be available to help if you need it :) You can make art any way you want, pastels, paints, pencils, digitally, let your creative juices flow!
When?
Wednesday 26th June at 15:30 (this is when we will meet at the studio but you can also join us later at the park too if you like)
Where?
BluePunk Tattoo Studio, Pitkänsillanranta 17, Hakaniemi, Helsinki. Once we have are all together we will move to the nearby park.
Why?
It's a fun and relaxed atmosphere where you'll have the opportunity to meet and socialise with fellow queer creatives! All profits from the event will go to a local LGBTQ+ related charity.
Who?
We are a Helsinki based, queer-friendly tattoo studio and official small business partner of Helsinki pride 2024. Every year on pride week we open up the studio to all of our LGBTQ+ friends for some creative social events
What should I bring?
A blanket to sit on, something to draw/paint with and on, something to drink/snack on if you like.
This event is over 18s only. We do not recommend attending if you have any allergies (there will be animals and hay present). The studio and park are both accessible and there is an accessible toilet at the park. Please feel free to contact us with any questions :)
