Black History City Walk

Deepen your understanding and connection with the powerful legacy of the Black community in Leeds this Black History Month. 

Join us on 10 October at 12.30pm as we celebrate Black History Month with an inspiring guided walk through the city. 

Guided by Joe Williams of Heritage Corner, an expert in Black history and culture, this walk will lead you through the heart of Leeds city centre, offering unique insights into the stories, struggles, and triumphs of the Black community, uncovering the hidden stories that have shaped Leeds into the diverse and inclusive city it is today.

This event will be meeting at Wellington Central which has step free access and accessible toilets. Cold drinks and tea & coffee making facilities are available however please note there are no lowered counter tops so if you require assistance please speak to a member of our events team who can help you.
