This 3hr 15 mins workshop will provide you with an introduction to the main essentials of Yoga, so that you have the necessary understanding of what yoga is, why it is so beneficial to our physical & mental wellbeing, & to learn some of the most frequently practiced yoga poses found in yoga classes.

THIS WORKSHOP WILL TEACH YOU:
*How to safely try some of the key yoga poses in a way that suits your body & abilities
*Learning some of the many benefits to yoga through poses & breath
*Breathing techniques used in yoga & about the power of our breath
*A brief guide to the origins of Yoga

THE WORKSHOP ALSO INCLUDES:
*A handout for further reading & information

Frequently asked questions

Does it matter if I've done one or two classes before?

Nope! Not all all! This is a great place to be if you are new into classes. As regular 1 hour classes can't go into as much detail & depth as we will.

Can I attend if I've done yoga years ago?

You sure can, because we often need to refresh our brains with the basics again to help give us that bit of confidence back/

What do I bring?

Just yourself & perhaps a water bottle. I will provide all equipment needed for the workshop, and you even get homemade treats during the workshop!

what do I wear?

Anything you feel comfortable moving in. I would recommend a sports bra or supportive bra for those that identify as female, especially in relation to bending. We practice without socks on due to giving us better grip & mobility & connection to our feet, but this can be a personal choice.

Do I need to be flexible?

No no no!!! This is the whole reason you should attend a beginner workshop & do yoga in the first place! To help you understand how over time, the flexibility becomes a bi-product of the movements you're doing.
