Beginner Sewing Classes
Join us for our Beginner Sewing Classes at The Circular Studio! Whether you've never touched a needle or just need a refresher, this in-person event is perfect for you. Every Wednesday and Thursday, Sam our experienced instructor will guide you through the basics of sewing in a relaxed and friendly environment, teaching you the foundations of machine sewing.
Choose from two 2-hour block sessions!
During these classes, you'll learn essential techniques such as threading a sewing machine, stitching seams, hemming, and more. With hands-on practice and personalised attention, you'll gain the skills and confidence to tackle your own sewing projects.
At The Circular Studio, we will provide all the necessary materials, including sewing machines (if you don't have one) and fabrics, so you can focus on learning without any hassle. If you have your own machine that you'd like to learn on, bring it along! Whether you're interested in making your own clothes, home decor, or gifts for loved ones, these classes will set you on the path to becoming a skilled seamstress.

Yes, if you have a machine you'd like to learn how to use, please bring it with you and we will help you learn all the tips and tricks.
Hell yes! We will have machines available at the studio ready for you to use :)
Unfortunately, no we don't have parking immediately outside the studio. However, there is parking just off of Clive Street or alternatively, there is free parking at the train station which is a 2-minute walk away.
The class will be £12 a session, coffees & teas will be complimentary and materials will be included unless stated otherwise :)
Don't panic, we will be recording the techniques so that you can follow at home! These will be added to our social media and to our Facebook group :)
We are tucked off the high street behind Wetherspoons! If you can see spoons beer garden and an Aktons no car parking space then you've found us! We are in the building with the white door that looks like flats and has "no parking" in red signs.
