Almost Instinct, Almost True

The play explores whether or not it's true that' what will survive of us is love ' and what we do when we find out our idols have feet of clay. From playing the Queen in the BBC drama about Larkin - LOVE AGAIN - Julia Munrow now plays his long-suffering girlfriend , Monica Jones.

Monica and her friend, Tommy, played by Teddy Walker (THE CROWN) unite in a bitter comedy about the highs and lows of unrequited and long distance love.

Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of one of England's most celebrated poets. Almost Instinct, Almost True has had excellent reviews throughout its run at the Edinbugh Festival and at the Old Red Lion Theatre, London. This is a one off performance brought to Hull by the Philip Larkin Society.
