The Multiprofessional Simulation Lead, in conjunction with all Foundation Schools are committed to provide bespoke multiprofessional events at simulation centres across the six ICSs
This Multiprofessional simulation event has been organised buy NHSE to run within the Herts West Essex Integrated Care system.
This is a full day high fidelity simulation course for the multiprofessional foundation trainees, including doctors, pharmacists and physician associates. All attendees will participate in immersive simulated patient scenarios, followed by a debrief session with the peer group to consolidate learning.
Learning objectives include team approach on management of acutely deteriorating patients, clinical management of selected medical emergencies and guidelines, non-technical skills such as how to improve communication and team-working skills.For Foundation Doctors, this course is an additional training opportunity to work with the wider team- i.e. additional to your current high fidelity simulation course provided by your local hospitals, and will count towards your additional non-core hours

This course has been approved 8 CPD points by Faculty of Physician Associates under the Royal College of Physicians.
