Learn to Paddle with our team of qualified instructors . All equipment is provided, just book in and turn up on the day.

This is an event for both adults and children who would like to give kayaking a go and we encourage parents of children taking part to join in too and share the experience.



We'll be using sit-on-top kayaks which are stable and suitable for beginners. We recommend waterproof trousers or a change of clothing as the seat does get wet.

How to find us



We'll be on the canal at the back of Sainsbury's in Selly Oak. The post code listed for the event will take you to Sainsbury's carpark which offers 4 hours of free parking.

Bus number 63 and 61 stop outside Sense at Touchbase Pears and opposite Selly Oak Train Station. From there, the canal can be accessed by steps near the Unite Student Accommodation.

Please book one time slot per person. These sessions are suitable for those aged 8 years old and upwards.

Parents and Guardians for those under 12 are required to remain on site during the activity.

If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow others a chance to take part.
